8) Will a CPVC ball valve corrode or scale in a hard water or chemical line?
No. Corzan CPVC will not rust, scale, pit or corrode, which is the main reason it gets used in place of metal ball valves on chemical feed, corrosive water and irrigation lines. It is also lightweight and maintenance free in normal service, so it goes in without pipe support changes that a bronze or iron valve of the same size would drive.
