That is exactly the prep the L9070 is built for: 2-3/4 inch backset, 1-3/4 inch door thickness. The lock case measures 4-7/16 x 6-1/16 x 1 inches, so the mortise pocket has to accept that body, and the armor front is 1-1/4 x 8 inches. Key-only locking from the corridor side. The latchbolt retracts by lever from either side unless the outside lever is locked by key; the key both locks and unlocks the outside.
