1) Can the WAC Jedi PD-51322 mini-pendant be installed over a kitchen sink or in a covered porch?
The Jedi PD-51322 is damp location listed, so it works indoors or in covered outdoor areas like a porch ceiling or a covered patio. It also carries an IP44 rating along with ETL and cETL listings. What it is not rated for is direct exposure to rain or sprinklers, so keep it under cover.
2) What dimmer do I need for the WAC Jedi LED pendant?
Use an electronic low voltage (ELV) dimmer. The Jedi pendant dims smooth and continuous on ELV, and standard incandescent/TRIAC wall dimmers are not the specified control for it. Spec the ELV dimmer in with the fixture so the electrician isn't back on site swapping it out.
3) Will the WAC PD-51322 pendant run on 277V commercial power?
Yes. The driver is universal input, 120V, 240V or 277V, and it is concealed in the canopy, so the same fixture works on a residential 120V circuit or a 277V commercial lighting circuit with no separate remote driver to find room for.
4) How high a ceiling can the Jedi mini-pendant hang from, and how short can it go?
Cable hung, with 120 inches of cable supplied, giving an adjustable overall height from 27 inches minimum to 120 inches maximum. Height is set at the canopy with push pin connectors, so you cut in at the finish stage rather than pre-measuring stems. Longer lengths can be special ordered for tall stairwells or double height spaces.
5) If an LED fails in the Jedi pendant, do I have to replace the whole fixture?
No. The Jedi uses LED filament lamps, 22 of them in the tube, and each filament lamp is replaceable with a quick connector. That is unusual for an integrated LED pendant and it matters for a maintenance department that has to keep a lobby or restaurant looking uniform. Rated life is 50,000 hours.
6) What size canopy does the WAC Jedi pendant cover on the ceiling?
The backplate is 6.13 inches in diameter, which covers a standard round ceiling outlet box. The fixture is hardwired and ceiling mounted, so you need a box and a supply, not a plug.

The light tube is 1.5 inches in diameter and 22 inches tall, a slim vertical rod rather than a shade. Because the profile is so narrow it reads as a line of light in multiples and does not block sightlines across a bar or island, which is the main reason people pick it over a bell or dome pendant.
10) Does the WAC Jedi pendant meet California Title 24 for residential lighting?
Title 20 compliant, but not Title 24 compliant, and it is not Energy Star rated. On a California project where the fixture has to count toward high efficacy, this one will not qualify and you will need to cover that with other luminaires in the room.
11) Are the suspension cables on the Jedi pendant carrying the power, or is there a separate wire?
The cables are electrified, so there is no separate power wire dangling alongside the suspension. Body is aluminum with a glass diffuser over the filament tube, and the clean two-cable look is the point of the design.
