1) How low can the WAC Jedi PD-51327 chandelier hang, and how short can it go over a kitchen island?
Hanging range runs from 20 inches minimum to 122 inches maximum overall. The fixture body itself is 12.63 inches tall and 27 inches in diameter, and it ships with three 12 inch down rods plus one 6 inch rod. Use only the 6 inch rod for the tightest drop; stack rods for tall entry or stairwell applications. Wire length supplied is 130 inches, so the 122 inch maximum is the governing limit, not the cable.
2) What dimmer works with the WAC Jedi LED chandelier? My standard wall dimmer is flickering.
It needs an ELV (electronic low voltage) dimmer. A standard incandescent/forward-phase or MLV dimmer is the usual cause of flicker or drop-out on this fixture. Swap to a reverse-phase ELV control and the 27 LED filament lamps dim smooth and continuous.
3) Can the Jedi PD-51327 chandelier run on 277V in a commercial building?
Yes. The driver is universal input, 120V, 240V or 277V, and it sits concealed inside the canopy, so no remote driver enclosure is needed. That makes it usable on commercial 277V lighting branch circuits as well as residential 120V.
4) Is the Jedi LED chandelier rated for a covered porch or a bathroom?
It carries a damp location rating and is IP44, so covered exterior areas, porches, and bathrooms outside the shower zone are fine. It is not wet rated, so do not hang it where it takes direct rain or sprinkler spray.
5) If an LED goes out on the Jedi chandelier, do I have to replace the whole fixture?
