1) Does the WAC ME-826 monopoint spot light need a separate track or remote transformer?
No. The ME-826 is a monopoint fixture with the 120V electronic transformer built into the canopy, so it wires straight to a 120V branch circuit with no track run and no remote transformer. It's a hardwired fixture, not plug-in, so it needs a junction box at the mounting point.
2) Is a lamp included with the WAC ME-826 spot light?
No lamp ships with the ME-826. It takes one 12V MR16 with a GU5.3 bi-pin base, LED or halogen, up to 50W max. The LED MR16 is only included if you order the 826LED version instead.
3) Will the ME-826 monopoint dim smoothly with an LED MR16, or will it drop out at low levels?
The integral transformer is rated to 1 watt minimum load specifically so low-wattage LED MR16 lamps stay on. Paired with an electronic low voltage dimmer it dims smoothly and continuously down to 10 percent. The fixture accepts ELV and TRIAC dimming, so match the dimmer type to one of those.
4) Can this WAC monopoint spot be mounted on a wall and aimed upward, or is it ceiling only?
