2) If I order the 3000K Atlantis, am I locked into that color temperature?
No. Every Atlantis 6 inch unit has a Tri-CCT switch inside the canopy that toggles between 3000K warm white, 3500K white, and 4000K cool white. The number in the part number (30, 35, or 40) is just the factory preset, and an electrician can flip it at install. Useful if you are matching a fixture already on the building.
