Yes. The 1061 is a 12V low voltage fixture and draws 2W, so it runs off a standard 12 volt landscape transformer alongside your path and spot fixtures. At 2W each you can put a lot of them on one run before loading the transformer. It's hardwired, with a 36 inch lead off the fixture to reach your main cable.

At 100 lumens the 1061 is a marker, not a path light. The scoop top throws light low and directional to show you where the edge, step or grade change is, which is why it is called an indicator. If you need usable illumination on the walking surface itself, spec proper path or bollard fixtures for that and use these to define edges, stair treads and driveway lines between them.

The 1061 is ADA compliant, and because the scoop top sits essentially flush at grade with only a 1.63 inch square face, it doesn't create the protrusion that a path light would in an accessible route. That's the reason these get specified along the edges of walkways and stair landings in commercial and multi-family work rather than a staked fixture.

The 1061 dims on MLV, magnetic low voltage. Match that to the dimmer and to the transformer: an MLV-rated dimmer on the line side of a magnetic transformer. An ELV or standard incandescent dimmer is the wrong control for it and will give you flicker or drop-out at the low end.

Both color temperatures come in both finishes, so the two decisions are independent. 2700K reads warmer and blends with older incandescent-era landscape lighting on the same property; 3000K is slightly whiter and is the more common spec on newer commercial exteriors. Finish is either bare stainless steel or stainless coated in bronze. If you are adding to an existing run, match what's already in the ground rather than mixing.

You get the complete fixture with the LED factory sealed in, a 36 inch wire lead, a hardware pack, the spring retention clip, two Ideal direct burial wire nuts and an interchangeable faceplate. What you supply is the 12V transformer, the low voltage cable back to it, and the hole. No lamp to order, the LED is integrated and included.

No. The LED in the 1061 is factory sealed and integrated, so there is no lamp to change; that seal is part of how it holds an IP66 rating buried in the ground. It's rated 70,000 hours, so for a dusk-to-dawn landscape run you're planning on fixture replacement rather than relamping. For an MRO stock plan, carry spare fixtures, not lamps.

The 1061 is Title 24 compliant, which is what a California job needs to see on the fixture schedule. It is not Energy Star listed. On a 12V system, the transformer and controls also carry Title 24 requirements, so make sure those are specified to match.

Direction is set by how you orient the fixture in the hole, and the scoop cannot be flipped or reversed once seated. Decide which way the light throws before you set it, and rotate the body itself to aim it. The faceplate is interchangeable, so the top can be swapped, but the fixture is not a reversible-mount design.

Either finish is stainless steel underneath, so the base material is the same in salt air; the bronze version is a coating over that stainless. Bare stainless disappears against concrete and stone pavers, bronze reads darker in mulch, decking and planted beds. The lens is clear glass in both.
