1) Can the WAC Lighting 2031 indicator light be installed underwater in a fountain or pond?
Yes. The 2031 submersible indicator light carries an IP68 rating along with UL and cUL, and it is rated for wet locations outdoors, so continuous submersion in water features is within its rating. The housing is stainless steel with a clear glass lens.
2) What voltage transformer do I need for the WAC 2031 indicator light?
It runs on 12V, so it wires to a low voltage landscape transformer, not line voltage. Draw is 4W maximum per fixture, which makes it easy to add a run of them to an existing 12V landscape circuit without much load. It is a hardwired fixture.
3) How big is the WAC 2031 indicator light, and will it fit a 2 inch core hole?
The lens face measures 1.88 inches in diameter, with overall dimensions of 2.75 inches length by 2.75 inches width and 3.13 inches height. The 1.88 inch diameter is what sets the visible opening, so plan your bore around that and the 3.13 inch body depth behind it.
4) Is the mounting bracket included or do I order it separately?
Mounting is included. The 2031 ships as the indicator light with a mounting bracket and mounting hardware, and the mounting is reversible, so it can be set up for more than one orientation on the step, wall, or deck surface.
