1) Can the WAC 2052 inground indicator light be installed in a walkway where it gets rained on or walked over?
The 2052 inground indicator light is wet location rated for outdoor use and carries a UL, cUL and IP66 safety rating, so direct rain and washdown are fine. It is also listed ADA compliant, which matters for a path or stair light set in or beside a walking surface. The body is stainless steel with a clear glass lens.
2) What voltage and transformer do I need to run this WAC 12V inground indicator light?
It runs on 12V low voltage and is hardwired, so it needs a landscape transformer feeding a 12V run, not a line-voltage circuit. Each head draws 4W, which is what you use to size the transformer against the rest of the run. Dimming is magnetic low voltage (MLV), so pair it with an MLV dimmer ahead of a magnetic transformer if you want it dimmable.
3) What are the actual dimensions of this 2in square beveled top inground light for the core hole?
The 2052 is listed at 2.75 inches length by 2.75 inches width by 3.13 inches height, with a 1.88 inch product diameter for the round portion. Those are the numbers to size your sleeve or core opening and to confirm the beveled top sits flush where you need it.
4) How much lead wire comes on the WAC 2052 inground light, and will it reach my splice?
The fixture ships with 36 inches of lead wire. That is enough to reach a splice point set close to the housing, but on a long run you will be making a direct-burial rated splice or using a tee connector near the fixture rather than pulling the lead back to the transformer.
5) How bright is the WAC 2052 indicator light, and is it meant to light a whole path?

Four combinations: 2700K or 3000K, each in natural stainless steel or stainless steel coated in bronze. The part numbers are 2052-27SS, 2052-27BS, 2052-30SS and 2052-30BS. If you are matching existing WAC landscape fixtures on a property, 2700K reads warmer and closer to halogen, 3000K slightly cooler and whiter.
7) Is the LED in this inground indicator light replaceable, or is the whole fixture throwaway?
It is an integrated LED, included with the fixture, so there is no lamp to change. Average rated life is 70,000 hours. For a facility doing scheduled maintenance, plan on fixture replacement rather than relamping.
8) Does the WAC 2052 meet California Title 24 for a residential landscape lighting job?
