1) Does the WAC JHT-802LED come with a lamp, or do I have to buy MR16 bulbs separately?
The lamp is included. It is an 8W LED MR16 with a GY5.3 bi-pin base, so nothing extra is needed to put the head into service. If you ever relamp it, you are looking for an MR16 LED on a GY5.3 base.
2) What dimmer works with the WAC JHT-802LED low voltage track head?
It dims on an ELV (electronic low voltage) dimmer. A standard incandescent or MLV dimmer is the wrong control here and can cause flicker or drop-out at the low end, so spec an ELV-rated dimmer on that circuit.
3) Can I use the JHT-802LED track head in a covered patio or a bathroom?
No. The JHT-802LED is an indoor, dry-location head only. Keep it out of baths with shower exposure, covered exterior soffits and any damp or wet location, and use a damp or wet rated fixture there instead.
4) Does the WAC JHT-802LED meet California Title 24 for a commercial lighting job?
Yes, it is Title 24 compliant and CEC listed, which is what a California permit set asks for. It is also UL and cUL listed for US and Canadian work, and flagged ADA compliant. It is not Energy Star rated.
