1) Will the Houzer P-175 33-inch granite sink fit a 36-inch sink base cabinet?
A 36-inch base is the minimum for the P-175. The sink measures 33 x 22 x 9-1/2 inches overall, and as a topmount it drops into a cutout in the countertop with the rim resting on the deck, so the cabinet below only has to clear the bowls and the drain. Anything narrower than 36 inches will not take it.
2) Is the Houzer P-175 a drop-in or an undermount sink?
Drop-in topmount. The P-175 sets into the countertop from above with its rim sitting on the deck, which means it works on laminate and wood tops as well as stone, and it does not need the edge polishing or clip rail that an undermount cutout requires. Mounting hardware and installation instructions come in the box.
3) How big are the two bowls on the Houzer P-175 60/40 sink, and which side is the large one?
The split is 60/40 with the larger bowl on the left. The left bowl measures 16-3/8 x 19-1/4 x 9-1/2 inches and the right bowl 12-3/4 x 17-1/8 x 9-1/2 inches. Both are the same 9-1/2 inch depth, and the divider between them is low, so a long-handled pan can lie across the two.
4) What drain and strainer size does the Houzer P-175 granite sink take?
Both bowls are drilled 3-1/2 inches, the standard kitchen sink opening, so any 3-1/2 inch basket strainer or garbage disposal flange assembly fits. There are up to four pre-scored faucet holes on the deck. Pre-scored means the holes are cast but not opened, so the installer knocks out only what the job needs: one for a single-hole pull-down, three for a widespread with side spray, or all four if you are adding a soap dispenser or air switch as well. Leave the rest closed and the deck stays sealed.
6) Should I choose a granite composite sink or stainless steel for a rental kitchen?

Full sheet pans go in on the diagonal or across the low divider, which is what the arcing back wall and the low center rib are there for.
