4) Does using an interchangeable core cylinder change the Grade 1 rating on a Schlage L9000 mortise lock?

5) What size pocket does the Schlage L9465 need in the door, and will it drop into an existing mortise prep?
The lock case measures 4-7/16 x 6-1/16 x 1 inches and the armor front is 1-1/4 x 8 inches, on a 2-3/4 inch backset. That is the standard ANSI mortise footprint, so it goes into a door already prepped for an L Series or another ANSI mortise lock without re-routing the pocket. What does change is the face prep: the deadbolt function needs the correct armor front cutout, and the trim prep has to match the rose or escutcheon you order.
