Cylindrical Locks

A cylindrical lock, also commonly referred to as a bored lock, is a lock in which a large hole is bored into the door face of a door and a smaller cross-bore hole is bored into the door edge. When purchasing a lock, it is important to consider all of the variables. Outside of the standard considerations such as door type, door thickness, frame size, and backset, it is also important to consider the lock’s application.
